At the 2023 Greater Bay Area Green Finance (GBAGFA) Annual Meeting on 18 August, senior regulators, policy makers, and industry experts convened to review the progress achieved during HKGFA’s GBAGFA Presidency and discuss future actions for developing sustainable finance markets in the GBA and beyond.
As the GBAGFA President (2022-2023), we are proud to have handed over the presidency to the Macao Association of Banks. Furthermore, we welcomed the announcement of Dr. Ma Jun’s appointment as the Honorary Chairman and President of the GBAGFA.
With the engagement of regulators, policy makers, and the private and public sectors, we have made significant contributions to the acceleration and integration of green and sustainable markets in the GBA. Together with the respective Associations and our members, we have actively worked collaboratively towards harmonizing standards, facilitating transitions, promoting disclosure practices, and building capacity.
