Andra Chow is a Secretariat team member of the Hong Kong Green Finance Association (HKGFA). In this capacity, she supports the development of educational training and capacity building on green and sustainable finance that brings together government, regulatory bodies and the private sector to make tangible progress toward net zero transition locally and throughout the Greater Bay Area.

Andra has a wealth of hands-on experience in sustainability projects and event management. From 2020 to 2022, Andra was a project executive at the Hong Kong Social Enterprise Summit (HKSES), dedicated to fostering cross-sector partnerships to facilitate social innovation and entrepreneurship for positive change. Before working at SES, Andra worked as an intern at the United Nations Project Office on Governance in 2019 and the United Nations Office for Sustainable Development in 2018, both located in South Korea. During this time, she conducted research projects to assess developing member states’ policymaking for sustainable development and to identify their needs and solutions concerning the UN’s sustainable development goals.

Andra’s work on project and event management at HKGFA, HKSES and the UN has allowed her to connect with sustainability professionals and entrepreneurs worldwide and to engage in diverse environmental, social and governance (ESG) solutions to contemporary problems.  Notably, she became a certified ESG Planner (CEP®) in 2022.

Andra holds a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology from Simon Fraser University in Canada. During her undergraduate years, she worked as a research assistant on a social science project exploring the barriers to social integration for Asian minorities in Canada.
