Nature and biodiversity loss are emerging as critical financial risks, and businesses in Hong Kong are increasingly expected to understand, assess and disclose their nature-related dependencies and impacts in line with the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD) framework. With the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) signaling its intention to incorporate nature-related disclosures informed by TNFD into the global baseline for sustainability reporting by around October 2026, this webinar is a timely opportunity for companies to start building familiarity with TNFD-aligned approaches and tools. This session aims to equip participants with a clearer understanding of how to move from high-level TNFD concepts to concrete, tool-based applications that support more resilient and nature-positive business strategies.

Join the webinar to hear from experts with technical presentations on the Integrated Biodiversity Assessment Tool (IBAT) and the WWF Risk Filter, showcasing how these tools help identify location-specific biodiversity risks, screen portfolios, and generate decision-useful insights for strategy, risk, and reporting. This will be followed by a fireside chat with practitioners, who will share their experience on implementation, governance and resourcing needs, and how these tools can be embedded into existing ESG, risk and disclosure processes.
