While sustainable and impact investing has been developing rapidly in Asia in recent years, capital allocations vary and investment pipelines are evolving at different speeds. Moreover, the Covid-19 pandemic has highlighted the urgent need for investment funding to fill the gaps in regional social safety nets and to help build resilience for other emergencies such as the urgent climate crisis.

This year’s FT Investing for Good Asia, on 13 October 2020, will gather leading investors, wealth managers, development experts, entrepreneurs and others to explore the opportunities to make an impact on regional challenges. Speakers and delegates will discuss the obstacles that need to be overcome, from an array of different impact measurement metrics to a mindset that favours short-term returns over long-term transformation – something that will be critical as the post-pandemic world rebuilds.

A highlight of the event will be the panel discussion session at 4 pm- 4:45 pm (HK Time) with the topic on Financing Climate-Resilient Infrastructure – Can an impact approach help?
