There has been a surge of interest from banks and investors worldwide to have a clear and transparent set of rules to measure their financed emissions to assess risk, manage impact, meet the disclosure expectations of important stakeholders, and assess progress to global climate goals. HKGFA is teaming up with the Partnership for Carbon Accounting Financials (PCAF) in two Training Webinars to share the importance and implementation to measure financed emissions of a portfolio. Second of the series titled “HKGFA Training Series – Managing the Transition: Advancing Carbon Accounting with PCAF” will be held on 14th December (Wed) 4 – 5 pm (GMT+8).
SFC licensed persons may be able to claim CPT hours; HKICPA members may claim 1 CPD hour upon full participation of the event.
Following from the first webinar series in July 2022 which covered importance and implementation to measure financed emissions of a portfolio, this upcoming webinar will deep dive into the PCAF methodologies and share updates regarding the latest PCAF developments.
