NZAfE is an independent assessment and recognition framework developed by the Green Council to evaluate whether a company’s net-zero strategy is credible, measurable and supported by a sector-relevant transition pathway. It is more than an awards programme. It is a structured assessment that recognises organisations whose climate commitments are supported by governance, data and implementation. As climate disclosure expectations tighten in Hong Kong, investors, boards, lenders and regulators are seeking clearer evidence of transition readiness. NZAfE responds to this need by providing a locally grounded and independent benchmark for credible net-zero leadership.

Submissions are reviewed by an independent Judging Panel drawn from financial services, sustainable finance, engineering, academia, corporate governance and independent advisory.
