Asia is widely expected to be the main driver of global economic growth in the next few decades, offering enormous potential for the insurance sector. How to tap into this wave of new business opportunities and derive optimal benefits for society are pertinent and pressing topics.
The Asian Insurance Forum (AIF), the annual flagship event of the Insurance Authority in Hong Kong, provides a high-level platform for local and overseas delegates from different segments of the insurance industry to share insights on development prospects and opportunities in the Asian insurance market. The AIF 2021 will be held on 7th December, connecting speakers and audiences from Asia and all over the world.

The COVID-19 pandemic has brought to us an epochal moment. The insurance industry inevitably faces unprecedented challenges under the new normal, but there are also many opportunities ahead. This year’s forum, titled “Opportunities and Challenges in the Post-pandemic New Normal”, will feature discussions among leading players and experts in the insurance and financial markets, as well as the top authorities in Hong Kong, with a special focus on hot topics covering the Greater Bay Area development, green finance, InsurTech and regulatory issues.

Don’t miss  the session of “Mitigating the Impact of Climate Change with Green Finance” 7 December 2021 10:50 – 11:50 am HKT, where our Vice President and Secretary General, Ms. Chaoni Huang, will speak alongside Mr Christopher Hui Ching-yu, Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury, HKSAR, and other green finance veterans.
