As we mark the Paris Agreement’s 5th anniversary, it is vital that corporations and policymakers raise their ambition for climate action, ramp up efforts to reach net-zero by 2050 and build resilience against future risks.
This virtual event will bring together stakeholders from the corporations, institutional investors, governments, and non-profits, and explore the commitments and urgent action needed in this new decade in order to avoid catastrophic climate change and achieve a sustainable future. Grace Hui, Head of Green and Sustainable Finance at Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Ltd (HKEX), will be delivering a keynote address on HKEX’s ambition on driving ESG disclosure among corporates and facilitating sustainable finance. This event is supported by Hong Kong Green Finance Association.
CDP will also recognize the achievement of companies and cities leading the way on environmental action in Hong Kong and Southeast Asia, including those named on this year’s A List.
Join us as CDP will present an in-depth analysis of over 3,000 companies and cities in Asia Pacific from CDP’s 2020 disclosure cycle, and engage in a multi-stakeholder expert panel on the mainstreaming of sustainable finance, moderated by Keith Lee, Senior Vice President at WWF Asia Sustainable Finance. Panellists include:
- Luanne Sieh – Head of Group Sustainability, CIMB Group;
- Ellie Tang – Head of Sustainability, New World Development and K11 Concept; and
- Mark Harper – Group Sustainable Development Manager, John Swire & Son (HK)
