活动回顾

香港绿色金融协会(HKGFA) 将于二零二零年十一月五日(星期四)于香港金融大会堂举行2020香港绿色金融协会论坛「推动绿色共融经济复苏」,同时标记本协会自二零一八年成立之两周年纪念。

香港能于短时间内, 在绿色金融市场上取得重大进展,如在今年9月粤港澳大湾区绿色金融联盟。而HKGFA于过程中,扮演着重要角色,包括组织政策研究、草拟绿色金融守则、透过举办研讨、交流会议、从而促进产品创新、开拓公营及商业范畴的对话空间,继而提升国际贸易平台之共同合作机会。

展望未来,推动绿色共融经济复苏是未来可持续发展中必不可少的一环。新冠病毒疫情带出绿色及气候金融于香港,粤港澳大湾区,甚至全球之重要性。今年的HKGFA论坛将与会员及嘉宾围绕这个正被热切关注的议题,探讨如何为香港建设在就业,经济及环境角度皆繁荣兴盛的前景。

Ashley Ian Alder 欧达礼

Ashley is the Chief Executive Officer of the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) of Hong Kong. He was first appointed in October 2011. In May 2016, Ashley was elected as Chair of the Board of the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO), and was re-elected for a further two-year term in June 2020.

Ashley was previously Chair of the IOSCO Asia-Pacific Regional Committee and Vice Chair of the IOSCO Board. Ashley has represented IOSCO as a member of the Financial Stability Board Steering Committee and Plenary since his election as IOSCO Board Chair.

Ashley started his career as a lawyer in London in 1984. He moved to Hong Kong in 1989 with the international law firm Herbert Smith, practicing corporate and business law. He was Executive Director of Corporate Finance at the SFC from 2001 to 2004, before returning to Herbert Smith, where he became head of the firm’s Asia Region.

Ben McQuhae

Founder, Ben McQuhae & Co (www.bmcquhae.com), a sustainability focused law firm described as the only true ESG law firm on the planet and Winner of the INSEAD Business as a Force for Good Award 2021. Ben is a recognized leader in sustainable finance, green fintech and decarbonization, and recently completed the first offshore trade of high-integrity China carbon credits or CCERs.

Caroline Ramscar

Caroline Ramscar is Head of Sustainable Solutions, a role to develop LGIM’s sustainable strategy. She is responsible for engaging with clients on sustainability and the development of responsible investment solutions. Caroline joined LGIM in September 2013 initially working with L&G Group on its business initiatives with LGIM. She previously worked for Financial Risk Management (FRM) where she was Head of Relationship Management responsible for product launches as well as changes to the wider business. Caroline worked in prime brokerage at UBS where she coordinated hedge fund launches. She started her career in the finance division of Goldman Sachs. Caroline has a degree in International Management and French from the University of Bath. As part of her degree she worked for a year at Barclays in Paris.

Chaoni Huang 黃超妮

As Head of Sustainable Capital Markets for Global Markets Asia Pacific, Chaoni leads BNP Paribas’ sustainable finance solutions for corporate, financial institutions and investors with a focus on primary asset finance and securitisation. Working with Global Markets in Asia Pacific and the Bank’s global sustainable finance community, Chaoni drives BNP Paribas’ continued expansion and leadership in Asian sustainable debt capital markets.

Chaoni is an industry veteran with over 13 years of experience in sustainable finance having held various ESGrelated roles at Natixis, S&P Trucost, MSCI and the United Nations. In addition to her role at BNP Paribas, Chaoni is also deeply embedded in the sustainable finance industry where she is Vice President and Secretary General of the Hong Kong Green Finance Association and a guest researcher for the China Economy and Sustainable Development Centre at the Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business.

Chaoni received her Bachelor of Economics from the University of Warwick.

Christine Loh 陆恭蕙

Professor Christine Loh is the Chief Development Strategist, Institute for the Environment at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. She is also Visiting Professor at the Anderson School of Management, UCLA. Professor Loh is a lawyer by training and a commodities trader by profession. She also has a long career in public policy starting in the 1980s. She has been a legislator in Hong Kong, was the CEO of the non-profit think tank Civic Exchange, and was the Undersecretary for the Environment (2012-17), where she first championed green finance. She is an Advisor to the Hong Kong Green Finance Association, and a board member of CDP Worldwide. Her other commitments weave between academia, industry and philanthropy, such as being a board member of the Global Maritime Forum. member of BASF’s Stakeholder Advisory Council, as well as HSBC’s Climate Advisory Panel. She is also a Director of the Robert HN Ho Family Foundation. Loh is the author of many academic and popular works, ranging from history and politics to urban issues and the environment. She is a sought after speaker and moderator of meetings.

Christopher Hui Ching-yu 许正宇

Mr Christopher Hui Ching-yu was appointed the Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury on April 22, 2020.

Mr Hui was an Administrative Officer in the Government from 1999 to 2003 and served in the Economic Development Branch, the Office of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region in Beijing and the Home Affairs Department. Mr Hui worked in the banking sector after leaving the Government in 2003 and has worked for the Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited for over 10 years. He has been the Executive Director of the Hong Kong Financial Services Development Council since 2019.

Mr Hui holds Bachelor and Master (Hon) Degrees in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of Oxford, and Master of Business Administration Degree from INSEAD. He also attended the Stanford Executive Programme (SEP).

Darryl Chan 陈维民

Darryl Chan has been Executive Director (External) since August 2019 with responsibilities for promoting Hong Kong’s international financial centre development, offshore RMB business, and policies at international forums to advance financial stability.  He is also Deputy Director of the Infrastructure Financing Facilitation Office.  Prior to joining the HKMA in April 2013 as Executive Director (Corporate Services), Mr Chan was an Administrative Officer in the Hong Kong SAR Government and had worked in different policy bureaux and departments on policy formulation and administration.

David Liao 廖宜建

廖宜建现任汇丰亚太区环球银行业务主管,负责环球银行及资本市 场业务的整体客户关系、区内产品管理,以及第一道防线的风险管 理,包括信贷、声誉、金融犯罪风险等。自 2016 年 9 月起,他亦 担任汇丰集团总经理。 在担任亚太区环球银行业务主管前,廖先生为汇丰银行(中国)有 限公司(“汇丰中国”)行长兼行政总裁,同时担任汇丰中国董事 会执行董事。

廖先生于 1997 年加入汇丰,负责大中华区及新加坡的本地固定收 益业务。他于 2005 年获委任为汇丰中国地区司库,全面负责汇丰 在中国内地的环球资本市场业务。 2013 年 12 月起,他担任汇丰中 国环球银行及资本市场总监,并于 2014 年 3 月起同时担任汇丰中 国副行长。廖先生于 2015 年 4 月出任汇丰中国行长兼行政总裁。

廖先生为交通银行非执行董事,及汇丰晋信基金管理有限公司监 事。廖先生亦是中国人民政治协商会议北京市第十三届委员会委 员,湖北省人民政府省长国际企业家咨询委员会顾问,以及武汉市 人民政府国际咨询顾问。

在加入汇丰前,廖先生曾任职于日本兴业银行(现为瑞穗国际)。

Dr. King Au 区景麟博士

Dr Au is Executive Director of Financial Services Development Council (FSDC). Prior to joining the FSDC, he was President of Value Partners Group Limited. Dr Au also served as CEO of Eastspring Investments (Hong Kong) Limited and CEO of BOCHK Asset Management Limited. He also held various senior management positions at other financial institutions including Baring, GMO and HSBC Global Asset Management.

Dr Au was named CEO of the Year in Hong Kong by Asia Asset Management in 2012 and 2014. He was awarded the Medal of Honor by the HKSAR Government in 2008 for his valuable contributions to the securities and asset management industry. He was also the Chairman of the Hong Kong Securities and Investment Institute (HKSI) from 2006 to 2008 and the Chairman of the Hong Kong Investment Funds Association in 2004/2005.

Dr Au is currently serving as a Council member of the Hong Kong Institute of Chartered Public Accountants, an Index Advisory Committee member of China Securities Index Co., Limited and an Adjunct Professor at the University of Hong Kong among other public services.

Dr Au is a CFA Charterholder and a Senior Fellow of HKSI. He received his BA in Physics from the University of Oxford and PhD in Theoretical Particle Physics from the University of Durham.

Dr. Ma Jun 马骏博士

Dr. MA Jun is the Chairman and President of Hong Kong Green Finance Association, and Director of the Center for Finance and Development, Tsinghua National Institute of Financial Research. He is also a member of the Monetary Policy Committee of the People’s Bank of China, Chairman of Green Finance Committee of China Society for Finance and Banking, and Co-chair of G20 Green Finance Study Group.

Before joining Tsinghua University, he was the Chief Economist at the Research Bureau of the People’s Bank of China (PBOC) from 2014 to 2017. Prior to that, he worked for 13 years at Deutsche Bank, where he was Managing Director, Chief Economist for Greater China, and Head of China and Hong Kong Strategy. From 1992 to 2000, he worked as public policy specialist, economist and senior economist at the International Monetary Fund and World Bank. From 1988 to 1990, he was a research fellow at the Development Research Center of China’s State Council.

Dr. Tianyin SUN 孙天印博士

Dr. Tianyin SUN is currently leading the team to develop approaches and models for quantifying the impact of environmental and climate-related risks on the financial system at the Research Center for Green Finance Development of Tsinghua University. Prior to his current position, Dr. Tianyin SUN has worked with China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission (CBIRC), ETH Singapore Research Center, ThinkStep Group in Germany, UNEP Collaborating Research Center, and the UN Headquarters in New York.

Dr. Tianyin SUN has published more than a dozen high-profile academic journal articles in the field of environmental risk, several of which have been featured as ESI “highly cited” papers, indicating they are positioned into the top 1% of all the articles published in the relevant filed worldwide. His personal Google Scholar citations have now exceeded 2,100.

Under the auspices of Dr. Ma Jun and as the main implementer, Dr. Tianyin SUN has organized the compiling and editing of two very important reports published in Sep 2020, the NGFS Overview of Environmental Risk Analysis (ERA) by Financial Institutions and the NGFS Occasional Paper Case Studies of Environmental Risk Analysis Methodologies. These two reports, as the main products of Dr. Ma Jun’s chairmanship of the NGFS supervisory workstream, are the first comprehensive reports in ERA worldwide, and are believed to be greatly promoting the research and application of ERA in global financial sector.

Ellen Lam 林爱伦

Ellen focuses on WWF’s Environmental Bond Initiative aiming to promote effective and credible environmental bonds standards in Hong Kong and the region, based on international best practice. As a member of the green bond working group of the Hong Kong Green Finance Association, she also works closely with financial industry leaders to support the HKSAR government’s initiative to encourage more green bond issuances and investments.

Ellen started her career in the banking industry and developed an expertise in fixed income and credits with Hang Seng Bank, BNP Paribas and Pengyuan International, an offshore credit rating agency from China after graduating from the University of Hong Kong majoring in Economics and minor in Spanish.

George HONGCHOY 王国龙

Mr George HONGCHOY has been appointed Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Manager since February 2009 and May 2010 respectively. He is also one of the responsible officers of the Manager for the purposes of the Securities and Futures Ordinance, a director of The Link Holdings Limited, Link Properties Limited, The Link Finance Limited and a number of subsidiaries of Link.

He is the chairman of the Supervisory Committee of The Tracker Fund of Hong Kong, a trustee of the University of Pennsylvania, an adjunct professor of the Department of Real Estate and Construction of The University of Hong Kong, a member of the Asia-Pacific Advisory Board of International Council of Shopping Centers, a global governing trustee of the Urban Land Institute and an advisor of Our Hong Kong Foundation Limited. He was a member of the Corporate Governance Committee of Charoen Pokphand Group, Thailand from 2016 to 2018.

Grace Hui 许淑娴

Grace Hui is the Head of Green and Sustainable Finance at Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX) with responsibility for the development of HKEX’s green and sustainable finance programme. From 2013 to April 2020, Ms. Hui was the Chief Operating Officer of HKEX’s Listing Division. Prior to joining HKEX, Ms. Hui was with UBS in various roles including Chief of Staff and Global Chief Operating Officer of UBS Legal & Compliance Department. Ms. Hui is an Honorary Adviser and a member of the Inspection Committee of the Financial Reporting Council; a member of both the Regulatory Oversight Board and the Sustainability Committee of The Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants; and co- chairs the Market Development Work Stream of the Green and Sustainable Finance Cross- Agencies Steering Group established by Hong Kong Monetary Authority and Securities and Futures Commission.

Jane Xu

Jane (Yuan) Xu is the Country Manager/Head of Mission for Myanmar and Thailand at the IFC, a member of the World Bank Group. She also served as IFC Country Manager for the Philippines for five years, from March 2015 to June 2020. She has been with IFC since 2006 and worked across industry departments and regions as investment officers before she became IFC country manager for the Philippines in 2015. Jane has won several awards for her achievements on new business transactions and investment portfolio management. She is IFC’s Climate Anchor for East Asia and Pacific region and plays a crucial role in promoting green finance across the region.

Jane has an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University and a bachelor’s degree in Law from the University of International Relations.

Jonathan Drew 朱隽贤

Jonathan Drew is a Managing Director, Sustainable Finance in Real Assets & Structured Finance Group at HSBC. Jonathan graduated with an MA in Economics from Cambridge University in England and is also qualified as a Chartered Accountant. Jonathan started his banking career more than 20 years ago in London and after working in rapidly emerging Latin America and raising capital for large scale projects in the Middle East has been based in Hong Kong since 1997 witnessing first-hand the rapid growth of Asia and notably China. During this time he has been involved in successful transactions across a wide range of sectors including advising on and arranging finance for projects that produce and deliver energy (renewable and non-renewable) and transport people and resources from source to point of consumption as well as a wide range of infrastructure projects in social and education sectors with a focus on resource efficiency and sustainability. These transactions have involved supporting projects, corporates and institutions to approach various financial markets and structuring innovative and tailored products including green bonds and loans to meet the often large and specific needs of clients in markets with very distinct financial and regulatory characteristics. Jonathan is responsible for driving HSBC’s Sustainable Finance initiative across the Asia region for the banking business and also chairs the Asia Pacific Loan Market Association Green Loan Committee.

Joseph Chan Ho-lim 陈浩濂

Mr Chan was appointed the Under Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury on 16 August 2017.

Mr Chan has many years of senior executive experience in the banking industry. He was a Managing Director in the Global Markets Division of Credit Agricole Corporate & Investment Bank, and was a Managing Director in Financial Markets of Standard Chartered Bank.

Prior to joining the Government, Mr Chan held multiple roles in a number of public and professional bodies, including Vice President of the Hong Kong Society of Financial Analysts, Director of Hong Kong Securities & Investment Institute, Advisor of the Chinese Gold & Silver Exchange Society, as well as a General Committee member of the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce. Mr Chan was also a member of the Central & Western District Council.

Mr Chan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics (Hon) and Psychology from the University of Michigan, USA. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst.

Lisa Genasci

Lisa Genasci is the CEO of ADM Capital Foundation which she founded in 2006 as an innovative philanthropic vehicle to support critical research and impact-driven approaches to environmental conservation in Asia. ADMCF has been widely recognized for its work on solutions to some of our most intransigent challenges: depleting oceans; the nexus between forestry and development, air quality and public health; the intersection between food, energy and water. Before working in the non-profit sector, Ms Genasci was an Associated Press journalist, working in Rio de Janeiro and New York. She holds a BA degree with High Honors from Smith College and an LLM in Human Rights Law from the University of Hong Kong.

Luying Gan 甘露颖

甘露颖是汇丰债务资本市场部的联席董事,主要负责绿色金融的构建和推广工作。露颖曾在伦敦从事银行和资本市场方面的工作多年,一直在可持续发展金融的最前沿,曾为世界各地的工商企业,金融机构和政府发行绿色,社会和可持续发展债券。 

露颖曾参与多个里程碑式的绿色金融交易,包括中国工商银行一带一路气候债券,印度尼西亚政府绿色伊斯兰债券和麦格理银行绿色贷款。

在加入2013年加入汇丰银行前,露颖曾在摩根士丹利和安永从事结构产品估值工作。

Meng Meng 孟萌

Meng Meng, master of Environmental Management from Xiamen University, served as the Secretary-General of Guangdong Green Finance Committee, the 10th People’s Political Consultative Conference Member of Huadu District Guangzhou, as well as the president of both Guangzhou Carbon Emissions Exchange Co., Ltd.(CEEX) and Guangzhou Green Industry Investment Fund Management Co., ltd. She possesses years of working experience in low-carbon environmental protection field and has intimate knowledge of current situation and development trends of green industries such as low carbon, energy saving and environmental protection, etc. She is conversant with carbon pricing theory and has participated in constructing and operating CEEX. She has also engaged in several research projects of national, provincial and municipal level, making great contribution to advancing Guangdong carbon emissions trading market as the largest regional carbon market in China and accumulating precious experience in exploring market-oriented means of energy saving and emissions reduction as well as promoting the construction of green financial system.

Michael Sheren

Michael Sheren is a Senior Advisor within the Bank of England.   In his role, he provides counsel and independent challenge to senior PRA Management on matters concerning, governance, banking supervision and policy as well as research relating to the financial markets. On behalf of the BoE and the UK government, Mr Sheren Co-Chaired the G20 Sustainable Finance Study Group with China.   Correspondingly he is actively involved in domestic and international green finance activities including the Infrastructure Working Group within the G20 and the NGFS.   Mr Sheren is also actively involved in the Banks fintech and digital finance work in the UK, Europe and Asia.  Prior to Joining the Bank, Mr Sheren spent over twenty five years in the debt capital markets where he specialized in the structuring, distribution and trading debt for major global financial institutions in New York and London.  Mr Sheren holds master’s degrees from Harvard, The London School of Economics and New York University where he studied finance, economics, philosophy and public policy. He also holds a BA from the George Washington University.

Morgan Després is Deputy Head of the Financial Stability Department at Banque de France and also serves as the Head of the NGFS Secretariat. He joined the Banque de France in 2005 and served in the Payment and Settlement Systems Department and as Deputy Head of the Macroprudential Division. Other professional experiences include a secondment as Deputy Head of the Financial Stability Unit within the French Treasury Department and some technical assistance missions for the IMF. Morgan holds a MBA from ESSEC business school, graduated from the Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris and studied at the Harvard Extension School.

Paul Chan Mo-po 陈茂波

Mr Chan is a Certified Public Accountant. He is a former President of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Before joining the Government, Mr Chan held a number of public service positions including member of the Legislative Council and Chairman of Legal Aid Services Council.

Mr Chan served as Secretary for Development of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government from July 2012 to January 2017. He was appointed Financial Secretary on 16 January, 2017.

Raghu Narain

Raghu Narain has over 20 years’ experience in investment banking, corporate finance and economic policy advisory. Currently Head of Investment Banking for Natixis, APAC, he is responsible for delivering M&A, Acquisition Financing, Strategic Equity, and DCM solutions. Prior to Natixis, Mr. Narain was the Head of Sector Advisory and Global Industrials Group at RBS Asia. He has completed over 100 transactions (deal value: US$100+ billion) in M&A and financing deals in US and Asia Pacific. Prior to working in Asia, he was at Bank of America in New York where he was a Director responsible for M&A and capital raising activities for the Global Transportation and Logistics Group. Mr. Narain began his investment banking career with Salomon Smith Barney / Citigroup in New York. He completed his Masters degree from Harvard University. Mr. Narain is a volunteer in the United Nations ESBN task forces to promote economic and social development.

Ricco Zhang 张顺荣

Ricco Zhang is Senior Director, Asia Pacific of the International Capital Market Association (ICMA) based in Hong Kong. Mr. Zhang is responsible for ICMA’s development in Greater China and works very closely with regulators, financial institutions and other organizations who are active at the capital markets in the region to promote and maintain the best market practice. He has previously worked for international law firms, investment banks and other financial institutions engaged in capital market transactions and mergers & acquisitions in Asia and has extensive experience as a market practitioner. Mr. Zhang graduated from the Faculty of Law of the University of Hong Kong.

Sean Kidney

Sean Kidney is the CEO of the Climate Bonds Initiative, an international NGO working to mobilise debt capital markets for climate solutions. Projects include a green bond definitions and certification scheme with $34 trillion of assets represented on its Board and some 50 organisations involved in its development and governance; advising the EU; and working with China’s central bank on how to grow green bonds in China. Sean is also Consultant (Green Bonds) to the United Nations Secretary General.

An accomplished international speaker, Sean has over the past year spoken at conferences and seminars in Toronto, New York, Boston, Washington DC, Paris, Frankfurt, Utrecht, London, Casablanca, Doha, Beijing, Hong Kong and Sydney.

He is also a member of German International Aid Ministry’s TRANSfer Expert Group on “Using Climate Financing to Leverage Sustainable Transport; Mercer’s Sustainability Opportunities Fund Advisory Panel; The Canadian Corporate Knights Capital Advisory Council; Carbon War Room’s Building Efficiency Advisory Board; The Partnership on Sustainable Low Carbon Transport’s (SloCAT) Financing Framework.

Steven Wong 黃元山

Mr. Stephen Wong received a B.A. Degree in Economics from the University of Chicago, Phi Beta Kappa, and an M.A. Degree in East Asian Studies (Whitney and Betty MacMillan Center for International and Area Studies) from Yale University. Since then, he worked for a number of global financial institutions, including as an Executive Director in UBS (London) and a Managing Director at RBS. Mr. Wong joined Our Hong Kong foundation as Senior Consultant in May 2015, and was appointed Deputy Executive Director and Head of Public Policy in November of the same year. He is now Deputy Executive Director and Head of Public Policy Institute.

Mr. Wong’s public service includes various advisory roles appointed by the Hong Kong Government, including Board Member of the Financial Services Development Council, Board Member of the Urban Renewal Authority, Member of Investment Committee of the Beat Drugs Fund, Member of Investment Sub-Committee of the Housing Authority, Member of Feasibility Study Working Group of “Special Needs Public Trust”, Co-opted Member of Social Innovation & Entrepreneurship Development Fund Task Force of Commission on Poverty, Non-official Member of the Assessment Panel of the “Innovation and Technology Fund for Application in Elderly and Rehabilitation Care” of the Social Welfare Department, and ex-Member of Task Force on Land Supply, etc.

Mr. Wong is also active in community service. He is Chairman of the Clean Air Network, Vice Chairman of the Admissions, Budgets & Allocations Committee and Investment Sub-Committee Member of the Community Chest, and Executive Committee Member & Chairman of the Advisory Committee of Social Enterprise and Innovation Platform of the Hong Kong Council of Social Service. Mr. Wong is also an Adjunct Associate Professor at the Hong Kong University SPACE for the Institute for China Business.

Tracy Wong Harris 黃翠芝

Tracy Wong Harris is the Deputy Secretary General of Hong Kong Green Finance Association (HKGFA), which is a non-profit organisation to help to position Hong Kong as a leading global green and sustainable finance centre.

Prior to joining HKGFA, Tracy had over 16 years of financial markets experiences across various fixed income and complex structured products in JPMorgan, Mizuho International, Barclays Capital and BNP Paribas based in London and Hong Kong. Tracy established the Liquidity Risk Management and Chief Investment Office Independent Valuation functions across 14 countries in the Asia Pacific, risk managed the legacy Bear Stearns most illiquid securitised portfolio globally during her JPMorgan tenure. Current Board member of AIDS Concern, previously served as Board member of the Hong Kong LGBT+ Interbank, founder of the JPM PRIDE HK network and received JPMorgan Employee Appreciation Award in 2015. Tracy received her MSc and BA in International Finance and Capital Markets in the United Kingdom, graduated from the Oxford Said Business School in Social Finance and a certified member of Hong Kong Treasury Markets Association (HKTMA).

Yin LIN 林殷

Yin LIN, Director of Strategy & Planning Department, CEEXMrs. LIN has over 12 years’ research and working experience in climate change, low carbon finance, and international trade finance sectors. She deeply involved in the design and development of Shenzhen ETS and made significant contributions on Carbon Finance Product Innovation. She is also an expert of UNDP Sustainable Development Financial Technology Committee. She led or core-participated in more than 30 low carbon projects, including the drafting of Regulations of Shenzhen Special Economic Zone on Green Finance. Mrs. LIN holds a Master Degree of Economics in Environmental and Climate Change Economics from Renmin University of China.

Zoë Knight

Zoë Knight is the Managing Director and Group Head of the HSBC Centre of Sustainable Finance which she set up in 2018.  The Centre collaborates with colleagues across HSBC and external partners to produce thought leadership on critical issues to scale up and mobilise capital to address sustainability challenges, particularly climate change.

Since joining HSBC in 2010, Zoë has co-authored reports on low-carbon opportunities in bond and equity markets, as well as long-term carbon and water risks. She has worked in financial markets providing advisory services to a global client base since 1997.  Zoë is a Commissioner on the Energy Transition Commission and is a Member of the WEF Global Future Council on Global Public Goods in the Fourth Industrial Revolution.  In 2020, she was recognised as one of 275 Global female energy influencers by the Women’s Energy Council.
