Our Vice President and Special Advisor to Chairman, Founder of Ben McQuhae & Co, Mr. Ben McQuhae moderated Session 1 Carbon Market in the Era of Paris. This session dived into the details of carbon markets post Glasgow and the state of market forces in APEC. Panelists discussed the importance of standards and interoperability in affecting market demand, and the contemporary challenges and opportunities in setting up voluntary carbon markets.
Inspirable inputs from the panelists will form the basis of APEC Business Advisory Council’s (ABAC) 2022 Report to APEC Finance Ministers, together with the recommendations that have emerged out of the roundtable.
